रावणस्य तपः-शिवानुग्रहः — Rāvaṇa’s Austerity and Śiva’s Bestowal of Grace
किं कुर्मः क्व च गच्छामः किं भविष्यति वा पुनः । दुष्टश्च दक्षतां प्राप्तः किंकिं नो साधयिष्यति
kiṃ kurmaḥ kva ca gacchāmaḥ kiṃ bhaviṣyati vā punaḥ | duṣṭaśca dakṣatāṃ prāptaḥ kiṃkiṃ no sādhayiṣyati
“我们该怎么办,又该往哪里去?接下来还会发生什么?那邪恶的达刹已得势——他还会对我们做出什么事来?”

It shows the human-like anxiety of Shiva’s followers when adharma gains strength, and implicitly teaches that safety lies in taking refuge in Pati (Shiva) rather than in worldly power.
When hostile forces rise (here, Daksha), the devotee turns inward to Saguna Shiva—worship of the Linga as Shiva’s compassionate presence—seeking protection, steadiness, and right action.
A practical takeaway is to stabilize the mind with japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and maintain Shaiva marks like Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as reminders of Shiva’s guardianship.
