Kṣaura-Snāna-Vidhi — Rite of Tonsure/Shaving and Purificatory Bath (Śaiva Procedure)
अस्त्रेणोन्मील्य संदृश्य क्षुरा दिक्षौ रसाधनम् । अभिमन्त्र्य द्वादशाथ प्रोक्षयेदस्त्रमंत्रतः
astreṇonmīlya saṃdṛśya kṣurā dikṣau rasādhanam | abhimantrya dvādaśātha prokṣayedastramaṃtrataḥ
以阿斯特罗真言（Astra-mantra）将其“开启”（作仪轨激活）并细察无误后，应以真言加持剃刀与已被祝圣的仪式之物；继而诵念十二遍，再依阿斯特罗真言洒净，以作清净与护持。
