It affirms that sustained, disciplined worship (dīrgha-satra) culminates in clear inner certainty (viniścaya) that Pati—Lord Shiva, Ambikāpati—has been truly honored, indicating the maturation of devotion into spiritual conviction.
By naming Shiva as Ambikāpati, the verse points to Saguna worship—approaching the Supreme as the personal Lord who receives upāsanā through rites and devotion, commonly expressed in Shiva Purana through Linga-pūjā and mantra-based reverence.
The takeaway is continuity in worship—regular pūjā and japa over time (especially Panchākṣarī: “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), supported by Shaiva observances such as bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa where prescribed.
