Devīkṛta-praśna-varṇana (Description of the Goddess’s Questions) / देवीकृतप्रश्नवर्णनम्
जायते न हि सन्देहो नेतरेषामिति श्रुतिः । शिवभक्तिविहीनानामिति तत्त्वार्थनिश्चयः
jāyate na hi sandeho netareṣāmiti śrutiḥ | śivabhaktivihīnānāmiti tattvārthaniścayaḥ
对此实无疑惑——《闻传》(śruti)如是宣说;对其他人则不然。此为已定之真义:缺乏对湿婆的虔敬者,不能获得究竟义的决定与应得之果。
Suta Goswami (narrating the Kailasa Samhita teaching to the sages at Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
It asserts a settled Shaiva conclusion: certainty in the highest truth and its fruit is secured through Śiva-bhakti; without devotion to Pati (Śiva), spiritual attainment remains incomplete.
Linga/Saguna worship functions as a concrete support for Śiva-bhakti; the verse emphasizes that devotion—not mere external affiliation—determines whether spiritual certainty and grace-bearing realization arises.
Cultivate steady Śiva-bhakti through daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with faithful Linga-pūjā; the key takeaway is removing doubt by consistent devotional discipline.
