Suta Goswami (narrating the Shaiva cosmological teaching as preserved in the Kailasa Samhita)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Role: teaching
Cosmic Event: saṃyojana—ordering/combining of manifest factors in creation
It frames creation as an ordered “joining” (saṃyojana) carried out by Brahmā, yet meaningful within Shaiva philosophy because the cosmos is an intelligible, purposeful arrangement that can support the soul’s progress toward liberation under the supreme lordship of Shiva (Pati).
By presenting the universe as a structured manifestation, it points devotees to the governing divine intelligence behind form—worship of the Linga and Saguna Shiva honors the Lord who transcends the cosmos yet makes it a beneficial field for dharma, devotion, and realization.
A practical takeaway is contemplative meditation on cosmic order while repeating the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), seeing all “arrangement” (vyūha) as pervaded and overseen by Shiva—supporting steadiness in japa and inner discipline.
