这首简短的疗愈赞歌祈请诸神合力作为复苏之力,使倒下之人重新振作、恢复力量,即便疾病与过失或误行有关亦能得救。诗中融汇祈祷、护佑的祝福,以及以“咒触”进行的仪式—心理性动作,驱逐消耗之病(yakṣma),重建无病安泰的圆满(anāmaya)。

Mantra 1

उत देवा अवहितं देवा उन्नयथा पुनः । उतागश्चक्रुषं देवा देवा जीवयथा पुनः ॥

又诸神啊,把那沉落者再度扶起;是的,诸神啊,再一次将其举升。纵使他曾犯过过失,诸神啊,也请再度使他复归生命与圆满。

द्वाविमौ वातौ वात आ सिन्धोरा परावतः । दक्षं ते अन्य आ वातु परान्यो वातु यद्रपः ॥

风啊,有两道风在吹:一道自河流而来,一道自遥远彼岸而来。愿其一为你带来力量与正当的能力;愿其一吹散那使人消耗的病厄。

आ वात वाहि भेषजं वि वात वाहि यद्रपः । त्वं हि विश्वभेषजो देवानां दूत ईयसे ॥

风神啊,请把这疗愈之药带来;风神啊,请吹散、驱离那消耗的病害。因为你确是普遍的良药,是诸神的使者,往来于神界与有身之生之间。

आ त्वागमं शंतातिभिरथो अरिष्टतातिभिः । दक्षं ते भद्रमाभार्षं परा यक्ष्मं सुवामि ते ॥

我带着赐安之福而来,也带着无伤之护而来。我为你奉上吉祥的力量与正当的能力;我为你驱逐那消耗之病。

त्रायन्तामिह देवास्त्रायतां मरुतां गणः । त्रायन्तां विश्वा भूतानि यथायमरपा असत् ॥

愿诸神在此护佑他;愿摩卢特(Marut)之众护佑。愿一切众生护佑,使此人得以无消耗、无伤害。

आप इद्वा उ भेषजीरापो अमीवचातनीः । आपः सर्वस्य भेषजीस्तास्ते कृण्वन्तु भेषजम् ॥

诸水实为医药;诸水能驱除病患。诸水是万有之药;愿那诸水为你成就良药,使生命与心识复归圆满。

हस्ताभ्यां दशशाखाभ्यां जिह्वा वाचः पुरोगवी । अनामयित्नुभ्यां त्वा ताभ्यां त्वोप स्पृशामसि ॥

以双手——十枝之力——并以在言语之前引导的舌;以那两种能除失调与疾病之力,我们近前触及你;愿你之存在复归无病与圆满。
