Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint

唉——可耻啊!这两位王子之覆灭,竟是因我而起吗?抑或那凶暴的罗刹——心怀罪恶之决意——因丧子之痛,不能杀死罗摩与罗什曼那,便决意来毁灭我?
Wow! Has the destruction of the two brothers brought about on account of the grief of the death of his son or on my account? Not able to kill Rama and Lakshmana, has this fierce Rakshasa who does not hesitate, resolved to kill me?
Dharma appears as moral accountability: Sītā examines whether suffering is being caused ‘because of her,’ reflecting conscientious self-scrutiny rather than denial.
Hearing the Rākṣasas’ uproar, Sītā fears that Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa may have been destroyed and that the Rākṣasa may now turn to kill her.
Sītā’s integrity and responsibility—she does not center pride or comfort, but truthfully faces consequences and danger.
