Indrajit–Lakshmana Battle and the Rallying of the Vanaras
ततोमहेन्द्रप्रतिमः स लक्ष्मणःपदातिनंतंनिहतैर्हयोत्तमैः ।सृजन्तमाजौनिशितान्शरोत्तमान् भृशंतदाबाणगणैर्न्यवारयत् ।।।।
tato mahendra-pratimaḥ sa lakṣmaṇaḥ padātinaṃ taṃ nihatāir hayottamaiḥ | sṛjantaṃ ājau niśitān śarottamān bhṛśaṃ tadā bāṇa-gaṇair nyavārayat ||6.90.54||
于是罗什曼那,威仪如大因陀罗(摩诃因陀罗),以密集箭群强力遏止了他。那战士因上等战马尽被杀尽而徒步作战,却仍在战场上不断放出锋利而上乘的箭矢。
Then the best of horses killed, Indrajith was returning by walk, after having discharged sharpened best of shafts, He was obstructed by Lakshmana, who closely resembled mighty Mahendra, who had powerful volley of arrows.।। ityārṣēvālmīkīyēśrīmadrāmāyaṇēādikāvyēyuddhakāṇḍēnavatitamassargaḥ ।।This is the end of the ninetieth sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.

Indrajit continues the fight on foot and fires sharp arrows; Lakṣmaṇa counters by stopping that attack with powerful volleys.
