Indrajit–Lakshmana Battle and the Rallying of the Vanaras
ताभामुभाभ्यांतरसाप्रसृष्टैर्विशिखैःशितैः ।निरन्तरमिवाकाशंबभूवतमसावृतम् ।।।।
tābhyām ubhābhyāṃ tarasā prasṛṣṭair viśikhaiḥ śitaiḥ |
nirantaram ivākāśaṃ babhūva tamasāvṛtam ||
两位勇士以极迅之势连发锐箭,箭雨不绝;虚空仿佛被持续遮蔽,宛如为黑暗所笼罩。
while both of them one over the other swiftly extended and loosened the whetted arrows continuously, the sky, shrouded with arrows, became dark.
Dharma here is implicit: even amid violent conflict, actions have consequences and must be governed by disciplined intent. The image of the sky darkened by arrows warns that unrestrained aggression can eclipse clarity and right judgment.
A fierce exchange of arrows between two principal combatants (contextually, Lakṣmaṇa and Indrajit) becomes so intense that the sky appears covered.
