两人都勇猛无比,一心求胜;此时被箭雨覆盖,铠甲和旗帜都被砍断,热血如山泉般喷涌而出。
Both of them of terrible valour, each of them wanting to win, moving together their armour and standards torn, started emitting hot blood from their body like waterfalls gushing out.
The verse implicitly teaches that pursuit of victory has a cost; dharma requires remembering the gravity of violence and the suffering it produces, even when battle is necessary.
The duel becomes physically devastating: both are riddled with arrows, their battle insignia and protection damaged, bleeding heavily.
Saṅkalpa (unshaken resolve): both remain intent on their objective despite severe injury.
