Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva
अङ्गदोमातुलौदृष्टवापथितौतुमहाबलौ ।अभिदुद्राववेगेनकुम्भमुद्यतकार्मुकम् ।।।।
aṅgado mātulau dṛṣṭvā patitau tu mahābalau |
abhidudrāva vegena kumbham udyatakārmukam ||
安伽陀见两位强大的舅父已然倒下,便疾驰冲向举弓待发的库姆婆。
Seeing the two maternal uncles fallen, Angada, who was endowed with great strength, attacked Kumbha, wielding a bow.
Dharma as responsibility to protect one’s community: Aṅgada does not abandon fallen elders but steps forward to confront the threat.
Aṅgada sees Mainda and Dvīvida (his maternal uncles in the tradition) fallen and charges toward Kumbha.
Protective courage—readiness to act decisively when allies are in danger.
