众猴军无法承受长枪坠击的碾压之势,宛如金刚杵的雷霆一击;于是发出震天的哀号与怒吼。
Unable to bear the very severe impact of the strike of the spear which was like the strike of thunderbolt the Vanaras cried making loud noise.
The verse underscores compassion-worthy suffering produced by war; dharma demands that force be used only for protection of righteousness, never for cruelty.
The Vanaras are struck by Narāntaka’s spear-blows and cry out from the unbearable impact.
Kṣānti (endurance) is tested; the scene shows the limits of physical endurance under extreme assault.
