The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
ततस्तुरामोधर्मात्मातस्यशृङ्गंमहत्तदा ।।।।शरैःकाञ्चनचित्राङ्गैश्चिच्छेदपुरुषर्षभः ।
tatas tu rāmo dharmātmā tasya śṛṅgaṃ mahat tadā | śaraiḥ kāñcana-citrāṅgaiś ciccheda puruṣarṣabhaḥ ||
于是,具足正法之心、为人中雄者罗摩,当即以饰有金辉的利箭,将那巨大的山峰劈裂。
The righteous Rama, a bull among men, taking his arrows adorned with gold split the peak of the mountain.
It presents dharma as active guardianship: Rāma’s righteousness is inseparable from timely, skilled action that neutralizes danger.
Rāma continues to break apart the threatening peak with his arrows, preventing its destructive impact.
