देवदानववीराणांवपुर्नैवंविधंभवेत् ।यादृशंराक्षसेन्द्रस्यवपुरेतत्प्रकाशते ।।6.59.28।।
deva-dānava-vīrāṇāṃ vapur naivaṃ-vidhaṃ bhavet |
yādṛśaṃ rākṣasendrasya vapur etat prakāśate ||6.59.28||
即便在天神与达那婆的勇士之中,也难得见此等形貌;如此炽盛的身姿,正从这位罗刹之主身上辉映而出。
Among the Devas and Danavas such brilliance is not there. He shines so brightly.
The verse reinforces that extraordinary power can exist even in adharma-aligned figures; dharma is measured by conduct and truth (satya), not by brilliance or dominance.
Rāma remarks that even divine and demonic champions do not display such a formidable appearance as Rāvaṇa does now.
Rāma’s realism and restraint: he acknowledges the enemy’s exceptional might while remaining anchored in righteous duty.
