Dharma includes gratitude and fairness: once an ally has fulfilled duty, the righteous leader honors them without exploitation, granting freedom rather than demanding more.
Rāma acknowledges the Vānaras’ fulfilled assistance and formally gives them permission to depart as they choose.
Rāma’s integrity and gratitude: he recognizes service, keeps alliances ethical, and does not bind helpers beyond what is just.
