एषांमध्येस्थितोराजन्भीमाक्षोभीमदर्शनः ।पर्जन्यइवजीमूतैस्समन्तात्परिवारितः ।।।।ऋक्षवन्तंगिरिश्रेष्ठमध्यास्तेनर्मदांपिबन् ।सर्वऋक्षाणामधिपतिर्धूम्रोनामैषयूथपः ।।।।

eṣāṃ madhye sthito rājan bhīmākṣo bhīmadarśanaḥ |

parjanya iva jīmūtaiḥ samantāt parivāritaḥ |

ṛkṣavantaṃ giriśreṣṭham adhyāste narmadāṃ piban |

sarvaṛkṣāṇām adhipatir dhūmro nāmaiṣa yūthapaḥ || 6.27.8–9 ||

大王啊,在他们中间站着一位目光骇人、形貌可怖者——如雨神帕尔贾尼亚被云团四面环绕。它栖居于殊胜的梨叉伐特山,饮纳尔摩达河之水;它是众熊之主,那位名为“杜摩罗”的群首。

Standing like dark clouds, black in colour like collyrium, who are of unfailing valour in war, innumerable in numbers, like the small particles of sand on the other bank of ocean, who cannot be counted are moving towards you. They are from mountains, riverbanks, and difficult locations. Those highly ferocious Bears are advancing towards you."
