“罗摩在战场上尚未见过我箭囊中安卧的利箭——如同含毒之蛇;因此他才想与我一战。”
Afflicted by sorrow upon seeing the colourful flags and posts of Lanka even Rama's thoughts went about thinking of Sita.
The implied ethical contrast is that Dharma relies on righteous intent and restraint, whereas Adharma seeks intimidation and harm; boasting about ‘poison-like’ weapons reflects a mindset opposed to Satya and justice.
Rāvaṇa continues his self-aggrandizing speech, claiming Rāma challenges him only because he has not witnessed Rāvaṇa’s deadly arsenal.
Implicitly, Rāma’s fearlessness and commitment to duty; explicitly, Rāvaṇa’s cruelty and arrogance.
