因为迈提利(Maithilī)被忧伤所笼罩,双眼为泪所迷;她听闻你的胜利,便渴望见你一面。
"Mythili who is overcome with grief on hearing your victory, was filled with tears in her eyes and desired to see you."
The verse foregrounds compassion and responsibility after victory: true dharma is not merely conquest, but attentive care for those who have suffered—here, Sītā’s grief and longing.
After Rāvaṇa’s defeat, Hanumān conveys to Rāma that Sītā has heard the news of victory and wishes to see him.
Hanumān’s fidelity and truthful mediation: he accurately reports Sītā’s emotional state and request, serving as a dharmic messenger.
