它被掷出,击中了罗刹王的三叉戟;那巨大的三叉戟被Śakti劈裂,光彩尽失,坠落于地。
With the hurling of the javelin by Rama at the great trident of Ravana and on (the javelin) touching the trident, it was broken, lost its splendour and fell down.
The fall of the trident symbolizes that adharma’s seeming invincibility is not permanent. When satya-aligned action is taken with rightful means, destructive power is checked and its arrogance loses its ‘splendor’.
Rāma throws the Śakti; it hits and splits Rāvaṇa’s trident, which then loses radiance and drops.
Determined, purposeful courage: Rāma escalates appropriately after a setback, using a sanctioned weapon to neutralize a grave threat.
