Description of the Pushpaka Vimana and Ravana’s Inner Palace
नम्रैरृजुभिरत्युच्चैस्समन्तात्सुविभूषितैः।स्तम्भै: पक्षैरिवात्युच्चैर्दिवं संप्रस्थितामिव।।5.9.25।।
namrair ṛjubhir atyuccaiḥ samantāt suvibhūṣitaiḥ |
stambhaiḥ pakṣair ivātyuccair divaṃ saṃprasthitām iva ||5.9.25||
四周立着高耸而精美装饰的柱子:有的微微弯曲,有的笔直挺立;那殿宇因这些如翼般的巨柱,仿佛正启程飞升,趋向天界。
It had highly ornamented pillars all over, some slightly bent and others straight. With lofty columns looking like wings it appeared as if the mansion had started on its journey to heaven.
Even when the world looks ‘heaven-like,’ Dharma demands discernment: appearances can elevate the senses, but truth is found by steadfast purpose.
The narration lingers on architectural grandeur as Hanumān moves through the palace complex.
