FAQs

Dharma is the sanctity of marriage and remembrance of lawful bonds: the ornament becomes a truthful witness to a righteous union and to Rāma’s duty to restore Sītā.

Rāma identifies the jewel and recalls its origin at the wedding, confirming it as Sītā’s and strengthening the credibility of Hanumān’s report.

Rāma’s integrity and clarity—he grounds action in सत्य (truth) by recognizing and verifying the token.
