也许是因陀罗凭借苦行的力量,为了惩罚我们而创造了他。在你们所有人的协助下,我征服了那伽、夜叉、乾闼婆,甚至包括众神和阿修罗。
"To me it appears he is created by Indra with his ascetic power (for punishing us). I have subdued nagas, yakshas, gandharvas and even gods, asuras and ascetics with your help. So you should certainly bring him here without doing any harm. Capture the monkey forcibly. Do not insult that mighty monkey.
A key dharmic restraint is articulated even by an antagonist: do not add humiliation to force. Power used without contempt preserves a boundary against needless cruelty.
Rāvaṇa, alarmed by Hanumān’s prowess, orders his men to capture him forcibly, suspects divine involvement, and warns them not to insult Hanumān.
Dhairya (steadiness) and parākrama (heroic power) are attributed to Hanumān; strategic caution is displayed by Rāvaṇa.
