अभिज्ञानमणि
प्रदानम् — The Signet Jewel as Proof and the Consolation of Sita
स तु मर्मणि घोरेण ताडितो मन्मथेषुणा।न शर्म लभते रामस्सिंहार्धित इव द्विपः।।।।
sa tu marmaṇi ghoreṇa tāḍito manmatheṣuṇā | na śarma labhate rāmaḥ siṁhārdita iva dvipaḥ ||
然而罗摩——被爱神摩摩他那可怖之箭直中要害——不得安宁,犹如被狮子撕咬的巨象。
"Rama is tormented by the dreadful arrows of the god of love pierced into vitals, like an elephant hit by a lion. He has no happiness in life.
Dharma includes fidelity in love and responsibility: Rāma’s anguish reflects unwavering commitment to his spouse and refusal to accept injustice as normal.
Hanumān tells Sītā of Rāma’s intense suffering in separation, to show that her husband’s efforts arise from deep loyalty and urgency.
Rāma’s constancy (ananya-bhāva) and devoted love, even amid pain.
