अभिज्ञानमणि
प्रदानम् — The Signet Jewel as Proof and the Consolation of Sita
सीताया वचनं श्रुत्वा हनुमान्मारुतात्मजः।शिरस्यञ्जलिमाधाय वाक्यमुत्तरमब्रवीत्।।।।
sītāyā vacanaṃ śrutvā hanumān mārutātmajaḥ | śirasy añjalim ādhāya vākyam uttaram abravīt ||
哈奴曼——风神之子——听罢悉多之言,合掌举至顶上以示恭敬,继而答曰。
"Having heard Sita's words, Hanuman, son of Maruta, placed his folded palms over his head in reverence and replied:
Dharma is expressed as maryādā (proper reverence): a servant of righteousness honors the virtuous through respectful conduct before speaking.
After listening to Sītā, Hanumān responds, first showing reverence through a formal gesture of respect.
