Sita Tests the Messenger; Hanuman Offers Reassurance
nityaṁ smarati rāmas tvāṁ sasugrīvaḥ salakṣmaṇaḥ | diṣṭyā jīvasi vaidehi rākṣasīvaśam āgatā ||
"O Vaidehi! Rama, Lakshmana and Sugriva always remember you. Luckily you are alive even though you are under the clutches of she-demons.
Dharma is steadfast marital fidelity and responsibility—Rāma’s constant remembrance signifies unwavering commitment to truth and duty despite separation.
Hanuman consoles Sītā by affirming that Rāma and his allies are actively thinking of her and moving toward rescue.
Rāma’s constancy (steadfastness) and Sītā’s endurance in adversity.
