“那位佳丽既与罗摩分离,便不应安睡——也不应进食、妆饰,或亲近酒饮。她亦不会依附他人,即便那人是诸天之主;因为纵在不死的天众之中,也无人可与罗摩比肩。”他既断定“此非其人”,便在宴饮之厅中往来巡视。
'Lovely Sita, being away from Rama, will not sleep, will not eat or drink or adorn herself. How can she approach any other man even if he is the king of gods for there is none equal to Rama even among gods'. Having thus decided, Hanuman strolledabout the banquet hall.
The dharma emphasized is steadfast marital fidelity and inner integrity: Sītā, devoted to Rāma, would not seek pleasure, adornment, or any other man. It also affirms satya in judgment—Hanumān refuses to accept a convenient conclusion and instead reasons carefully to identify Sītā truthfully.
While searching the women’s quarters and banquet area in Laṅkā, Hanumān sees women in states of revelry; he evaluates whether any could be Sītā and concludes that Sītā’s character would not match such a scene.
Hanumān’s moral reasoning and loyalty: he honors Sītā’s chastity and Rāma’s excellence, and he applies disciplined inference rather than impulsive identification.
