在那饮宴之厅里,他看见鹿、野牛与野猪之肉,分切成份,陈列其间。
There at the drinking hall the meat of deer, buffaloes and boars portioned and placed.
Dharma teaching is indirect: the text depicts a culture of excess that contrasts with the self-restraint and truth-centered conduct praised elsewhere. Hanumān’s dharma is to witness without being drawn into the scene.
Hanumān surveys provisions in the palace drinking-hall as part of his careful exploration of Laṅkā.
Alertness and restraint: he remains a vigilant observer, not a participant.
