ऋक्षबिलप्रवेशः
Entry into the Rikshabilam Cave
तत्र तत्र च विन्यस्तान्दीप्तान्वैश्वानरप्रभान्।।।।ददृशुर्वानराश्शुभ्राञ्जातरूपस्य सञ्चयान्।
tatra tatra ca vinyastān dīptān vaiśvānara-prabhān | dadṛśur vānarāḥ śubhrān jātarūpasya sañcayān ||
在此处彼处,众猴族看见一堆堆纯金陈列其间,光焰炽盛,宛如火神之辉。
The son of the Wind-god, Hanuman, searched all over the mountains and caves and woods difficult to access in that south-western region of the mountain.
Dharma is tested by temptation: the presence of dazzling wealth contrasts with the party’s true duty—searching for Sītā—implying restraint and prioritizing righteous purpose over greed.
Inside the cave, the searchers encounter arranged heaps of gold shining brilliantly.
Self-control (saṃyama)—not letting wealth distract from the mission.
