当苏格利婆与罗摩结下友盟之时,悉多、猴王以及那夜行者的左眼同时颤动,如莲华、如黄金、如炽燃之火一般。
'Both the brothers, Rama and Lakshmana seek friendship with you. As both of them are worthiest of worship, welcome them with due reverence.'
Dharma is presented as supported by cosmic संकेत (nimitta/omens): when a righteous alliance forms, signs arise indicating protection for the just and danger for the unjust.
As Sugrīva and Rāma form their bond, simultaneous bodily omens occur for Sītā, Vāli, and Rāvaṇa, foreshadowing coming outcomes.
Rāma and Sugrīva’s commitment to a dharmic alliance; the verse underscores that moral actions resonate beyond human politics into providential order.
