दूत्यम् / Hanuman’s Mediation and Lakshmana’s Appeal to Sugriva
भव्यो राज्यागमस्तस्य सुग्रीवस्य महात्मनः।यदयं कृत्यवान्प्राप्तः कृत्यं चैतदुपागतम्।।
bhavyo rājyāgamas tasya sugrīvasya mahātmanaḥ |
yad ayaṃ kṛtyavān prāptaḥ kṛtyaṃ caitad upāgatam ||
对大魂的苏格利瓦而言,复得王位似为吉兆:因这位尽责之人已至,而所需之事亦已近在眼前。
The great Sugriva, thinks Hanuman, who had done his duty is likely to acquire his kingdom, because great Rama who would help in the work of Sugriva has also come.'
Dharma as rightful order: restoring legitimate rule and fulfilling duty through timely cooperation between the righteous.
Hanuman privately concludes that Rama’s arrival makes Sugriva’s restoration to the throne likely and that the necessary work is now at hand.
Hanuman’s discernment and sense of duty; Rama’s reliability as one who accomplishes necessary righteous tasks.
