लक्ष्मणक्रोधः सुग्रीवप्रबोधनं च
Lakshmana’s Wrath and the Summoning of Sugriva
स कामिनं दीनमदीनसत्त्वंशोकाभिपन्नं समुदीर्णकोपम्।नरेन्द्रसूनुर्नरदेवपुत्रंरामानुजः पूर्वजमित्युवाच।।
sa kāminaṃ dīnam adīna-sattvaṃ |
śokābhipannaṃ samudīrṇa-kopam |
narendra-sūnur nara-deva-putraṃ |
rāmānujaḥ pūrvajam ity uvāca ||
于是,罗摩之弟——王子、王之子——对长兄说道:他虽为情所困而神色凄然,然其心志未折;只是悲痛压身,怒潮翻涌。
Seeing the indomitable hero, his elder brother, son of a king, love-sick, dejected and overcome by anger and grief, spoke prince Lakshmana:
Dharma includes supportive counsel within family: Lakṣmaṇa stands by Rāma, helping channel grief and anger toward rightful action.
At the start of Sarga 31, Lakṣmaṇa prepares to speak to Rāma, who is distressed by Sītā’s separation and Sugrīva’s delay.
Lakṣmaṇa’s loyal steadiness—he remains focused on duty even amid emotionally charged circumstances.
