द्वादशः सर्गः — Rama’s Proof of Power, the First Duel, and the Identification Mark
Kishkindha Kanda, Sarga 12
विभ्राजमानो वपुषा रामवाक्यसमाहितः।जगाम सह रामेण किष्किन्थां वालिपालिताम्4.12.42।।
vibhrājamāno vapuṣā rāmavākyasamāhitaḥ |
jagāma saha rāmeṇa kiṣkindhāṃ vālipālitām ||
他容光焕发,心念专注于成就罗摩之言,便与罗摩同往由婆利统治的奇什金达城。
Radiant Sugriva intent on carrying out Rama's words again went to Kishkinda ruled by Vali.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē kiṣkindhākāṇḍē dvādaśassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the twelfth sarga of Kishkindakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
Dharma is steadfast follow-through: once a righteous agreement is made, one proceeds with focus and integrity toward its fulfillment.
Having arranged the identification mark and renewed assurance, Sugrīva accompanies Rāma to Kiṣkindhā to confront Vāli.
Sugrīva’s determination and trust—he commits himself to the shared mission under Rāma’s guidance.
