其中有一位名为萨伽罗(Sagara)的国王——正是他开掘而成大海;每当他出征行进之时,六万王子便环绕随侍。
Among them a king named Sagara got the ocean dug and his sixty thousand sons surrounded him whenever he went (to battle).
The verse foregrounds royal capability and legacy; dharma here is the king’s duty to lead and act decisively, leaving enduring works remembered by society.
The narrator lists eminent Ikṣvāku kings, introducing Sagara and his famed association with the ocean.
Leadership and prowess—Sagara as a figure of commanding presence, supported by vast retinue.
