अयोध्यानगरवर्णनम्
Description of Ayodhya and the Ikshvaku Royal Setting
प्रासादै रत्नविकृतै: पर्वतैरुपशोभिताम् ।कूटागारैश्च सम्पूर्णामिन्द्रस्येवामरावतीम् ।।।।
prāsādai ratnavikṛtaiḥ parvatair upaśobhitām | kūṭāgāraiś ca sampūrṇām indrasyevāmarāvatīm ||
它如因陀罗的阿摩罗伐底般辉耀:群宫如山,宝石雕饰,重楼高阁充盈其间。
Like Indra's Amaravati, it was adorned by mountains and mansions with precious stones.
The verse implies rājadhrama through civic splendor: a righteous kingdom manifests as orderly prosperity, public security, and well-built habitation—outer beauty reflecting inner governance.
Ayodhyā is being praised and visually introduced before the narrative focuses on Daśaratha and the Ikṣvāku line.
Daśaratha’s implied kingship-virtue: capable rule that sustains wealth, stability, and public flourishing.
