kṛtvā vasumatīṃ rāma saṃvatsaram upāsata || 1.43.1 ||

Translation

罗摩啊，当诸神之神离去之后，婆吉罗陀便以大脚趾尖按压大地，坚定入定，修行苦行整整一年。
