诸位牟尼听罢,泪雾盈眶,心生极大惊叹,对二人说道:“善哉!善哉!”
All the sages having heard the chanting (of that glorious kavya), experienced greatastonishment. Overcome with tears of joy in their eyes, they praised them, exclaiming "Excellent, Excellent".
True dharmic speech and truthful narrative (satya) move the wise and purify the listener; the sages’ response validates that righteous content, rightly delivered, produces moral and emotional uplift.
After hearing the recitation by Kūśa and Lava, the assembled sages are deeply moved—tearful and astonished—and openly praise the performers.
Receptivity and discernment in the sages: they recognize excellence rooted in truth and dharma, responding with appreciative affirmation rather than envy or indifference.
