एकैकयोजनं पुत्रा विस्तारमधिगच्छत।यावत्तुरगसन्दर्श: तावत् खनत मेदिनीम्।तं चैव हयहर्तारं मार्गमाणा ममाज्ञया।।1.39.14।।

Transliteration

ēkaika-yojanaṁ putrā vistāram adhigacchata |

yāvat turaga-sandarśaḥ tāvat khanata medinīm |

taṁ caiva haya-hartāraṁ mārgamāṇā mamājñayā ||1.39.14||

Translation

孩子们，你们要按次第丈量大地，一由旬一由旬地推进。直到见到那匹马为止，便掘开大地；并依我之命，搜出那盗走祭马的窃贼。
