Siddhashrama and the Vāmana Narrative

इह राम महाबाहो विष्णुर्देववर: प्रभु:।वर्षाणि सुबहूनीह तथा युगशतानि च।।1.29.2।।तपश्चरणयोगार्थमुवास सुमहातपा:।

iha rāma mahābāho viṣṇur devavaraḥ prabhuḥ | varṣāṇi subahūnīha tathā yugaśatāni ca || 1.29.2 || tapaś-caraṇa-yogārtham uvāsa su-mahā-tapāḥ |

在此处,噢臂力无双的罗摩,毗湿奴——至上的主宰、诸天之中最尊胜者——曾久住无量岁月,乃至历经数百劫(yuga),为修习瑜伽并行持苦行(tapas)。
