Divine Council and the Generation of Vanara Allies
मारुतस्यात्मजश्श्रीमान्हनुमान्नाम वीर्यवान् ।वज्रसंहननोपेतो वैनतेयसमो जवे।।।।
mārutasyātmajaḥ śrīmān hanumān nāma vīryavān | vajra-saṃhanana-upeto vainateya-samo jave ||
风神摩鲁多(婆由)诞生一子,名哈奴曼,光辉而勇猛;其身坚若金刚,其速可比毗那底耶(迦楼罗)。
Vayu, the wind-god, begot a son named Hanuman, mighty and graceful, having a body as hard as a diamond and speed equal to Garuda's.
