Narada’s Summary to Valmiki
अभिषिच्य च लङ्कायां राक्षसेन्द्रं विभीषणम् ।कृतकृत्यस्तदा रामो विज्वर: प्रमुमोद ह ।।।।
abhiṣicya ca laṅkāyāṃ rākṣasendraṃ vibhīṣaṇam | kṛtakṛtyas tadā rāmo vijvaraḥ pramumoda ha ||
又在楞迦为毗毗沙那灌顶,立为罗刹之王之后,罗摩——大愿已遂,忧苦尽消——欢喜无量。
After coronating the rakshasa chief Vibhishana in the city of Lanka, Rama free from distress, exceedingly rejoiced after having accomplished his objective.
Dharma includes restoration of lawful governance after tyranny: victory is completed not merely by defeating evil, but by establishing a righteous ruler (Vibhīṣaṇa) and stable order.
After the war’s end, Rāma installs Vibhīṣaṇa as king in Laṅkā and experiences relief and joy.
Rāma’s statesmanship—he ensures continuity of governance and justice rather than leaving a power vacuum.
