Narada’s Summary to Valmiki
सोऽभ्यगच्छन्महातेजाश्शबरीं शत्रुसूदन: ।।।।शबर्या पूजितस्सम्यग्रामो दशरथात्मज: ।
so 'bhyagacchan mahātejāḥ śabarīṃ śatrusūdanaḥ | śabaryā pūjitas samyag rāmo daśarathātmajaḥ ||
于是,光辉炽盛、诛敌的罗摩——达沙罗陀之子——前往舍婆梨;舍婆梨以恭敬的礼拜如法供奉他。
On the bank of Pampa he met a monkey named Hanuman on whose advice he made friendship with Sugriva.
Dharma is mutual respect between the righteous and the devoted: Śabarī’s proper hospitality and Rāma’s acceptance sanctify the meeting as a model of reverence, humility, and truth-centered devotion.
Rāma reaches Śabarī’s hermitage as advised by Kabandha; she receives him with due honor.
Śabarī’s devoted service and Rāma’s gracious humility in receiving sincere worship.
