Guidance to Pampa and Rishyamuka; counsel to befriend Sugriva
ऋष्यमूकश्च पम्पायाः पुरस्तात्पुष्पितद्रुमः।सुदुःखारोहणो नाम शिशुनागाभिरक्षितः।।3.73.31।।उदारो ब्रह्मणा चैव पूर्वकाले विनिर्मितः।
ṛṣyamūkaś ca pampāyāḥ purastāt puṣpitadrumaḥ | suduḥkhārohaṇo nāma śiśunāgābhirakṣitaḥ || udāro brahmaṇā caiva pūrvakāle vinirmitaḥ |
在彭帕湖前方耸立着梨师耶穆迦山,繁花树木装点其间;它名为“难攀之山”,并由幼象守护。此山高峻宏伟,乃梵天在远古所造。
Mount Rishyamuka situated on the bank of Pampa has trees filled with blossoms. Itis difficult to climb and is protected by young elephants.This lofty mountain was created by Brahma in olden days.
Dharma is supported by sacred geography: certain places are portrayed as divinely ordered, guiding seekers toward safety, alliance, and right progress.
