Approach to Sarabhanga’s Hermitage and the Vision of Indra
रामोऽथ रथमुद्दिश्य लक्ष्मणायप्रदर्शयन्।।3.5.12।।अर्चिष्मन्तं श्रिया जुष्टमद्भुतं पश्य लक्ष्मण।प्रतपन्तमिवादित्यमन्तरिक्षगतं रथम्।।3.5.13।।
rāmo ’tha ratham uddiśya lakṣmaṇāya pradarśayan || 3.5.12 ||
arciṣmantaṁ śriyā juṣṭam adbhutaṁ paśya lakṣmaṇa |
pratapantam ivādityam antarikṣagataṁ ratham || 3.5.13 ||
于是罗摩指示那辆战车给罗什曼那看,说道:“看啊,罗什曼那——这奇妙的宝车,光焰灿然,祥辉所护,在空中照耀,宛如太阳。”
Pointing at the chariot, Rama said, Lakshmana, see this wonderful, effulgent chariot endowed with grace is shining like the Sun in the sky.
Dharma involves cultivated perception: recognizing signs of the divine and responding with respectful attention rather than distraction or fear.
Rāma draws Lakṣmaṇa’s attention to a brilliant celestial chariot visible in the sky.
Rāma’s instructive leadership—he teaches by directing attention and framing what is seen with clarity.
