rudra uvāca | śivadūti bravīmyekaṃ pravṛttaṃ yadyugāṃtare | gaṃgādvāre dakṣayajño gaṇairvidhvaṃsito mama
楼陀罗说道:“噢,湿婆的使者,我将告诉你一件发生在往昔劫中的事:在恒河门(Gaṅgā-dvāra),达叉的祭祀被我的众伽那摧毁了。”
Rudra (Śiva)
Concept: Ritual without humility and right relationship (especially honoring the divine and devotees) collapses; arrogance in yajña invites destruction.
Application: Let worship be paired with respect, inclusion, and inner purity; do not weaponize piety for status.

It places the Dakṣa-yajña episode at Gaṅgā-dvāra, a famed threshold-tīrtha of the Ganges (commonly identified with the Haridwar region), showing how Purāṇic narratives anchor theology in pilgrimage geography.
By recalling the downfall of a sacrifice associated with pride and exclusion, the verse implicitly elevates devotion and humility over mere ritual display—suggesting that reverence for Śiva and his devotees matters more than external ceremonial grandeur.
The Dakṣa-yajña motif warns against arrogance and disrespect toward the divine and the devoted; actions rooted in ego can collapse, while dharma requires honor, inclusion, and humility.
