Narada (teaching within a Tirtha-Mahatmya discourse; traditionally framed as Narada’s instruction to sages such as Sanatkumara and related interlocutors)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It asserts the certainty (niścayatā) of spiritual merit: when a seeker performs the prescribed tirtha-related practice as instructed, the stated fruit will unfailingly manifest.
By removing doubt about the efficacy of sacred practice, it strengthens śraddhā—an essential support for bhakti—so that pilgrimage, vows, and worship are done with steady trust rather than hesitation.
It indirectly emphasizes kalpa/ritual procedure: results depend on doing the observance “evaṃ” (as prescribed), reflecting the importance of correct performance and adherence to stated injunctions.
