prāṇānāyamya cācamya saṃdhyāṃ copāsya bhāskaram | upātiṣṭhettataścorddhvaṃ kṣiptvā puṣpajalāñjalim || 58 ||
调息(prāṇāyāma)并行阿遮摩那(ācamana)之后,复礼敬暮晨交时之神(Sandhyā)与日神婆斯迦罗(Bhāskara)。继而献上一捧花与净水(añjali)后,当起身而立。
Narada (teaching a prescribed ritual sequence, as transmitted in the Narada Purana narrative)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents the inner-to-outer order of daily worship: first purification (prāṇāyāma, ācamana), then contemplation and worship (Sandhyā and the Sun), and finally a respectful offering (añjali of flowers and water), aligning body, breath, and mind with dharma.
Bhakti is expressed here as disciplined reverence—approaching Bhāskara through purity and mindful ritual, offering flowers and water with joined palms, turning routine action into worship.
It reflects Śikṣā and Kalpa-style ritual discipline: regulated breathing, purification by sipping water, and the correct sequence of Sandhyā and Sūrya-upāsanā with prescribed offerings.
