Narada (stotra narration within Uttara-Bhaga context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
The verse frames the Goddess as the power of total purification (sarva-saṁśuddhi) and the remover of sin (pāpa-vimukti), showing that spiritual progress requires both inner cleansing and grace that culminates in liberation (mukti).
It models bhakti through repeated salutations (namo namaḥ) and surrender, praising the Divine as the giver of both life’s rightful enjoyments (bhukti) and the highest goal (mukti), aligning devotion with Dharma and ultimate release.
The verse functions as a stotra-mantra used in ritual recitation (connected to Kalpa/prayoga practice): it emphasizes shuddhi (ritual and inner purity) and pāpa-kṣaya (sin-destruction) as practical outcomes sought through devotional liturgy.
