Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that sincerity and mantra-guided devotion are primary: offerings may be made in precious metals or, when not possible, with simple substitutes, yet the act becomes spiritually effective when performed with proper worship and mantra in the sacred Gaṅgā.
Bhakti is shown as accessible—one worships with whatever is available (gold, silver, or even dough forms), offers flowers, and completes the act with mantra and reverence toward the holy river, emphasizing intent and devotion over luxury.
It highlights mantra-vidhi and ritual procedure (kalpa-style practice): correct sequencing (“first”), proper immersion in a tīrtha, and the requirement of a mantra-knower (mantravit) to perform the act according to rule.
