Gaṅgā-snānā-mahātmya
गङ्गास्नानेन भक्त्या तु मोदते दिवि देववत् । वर्षं स्नाति च गंगायां यो नरो भक्तिसंयुतः ॥ ४० ॥
gaṅgāsnānena bhaktyā tu modate divi devavat | varṣaṃ snāti ca gaṃgāyāṃ yo naro bhaktisaṃyutaḥ || 40 ||
然而以奉爱(bhakti)沐浴恒河者,便在天界如天神般欢喜。若有人怀奉爱之心,整整一年在恒河沐浴,亦得此等神圣之乐。
