她被“十二日斋”(Dvādaśī)的光辉所摧破;智者称此日能摧灭诸障。诸天于是称她为“摩诃尼”(Mohinī)——迷惑世间的妖娆惑者。
Suta (narrating the Narada Purana tradition; within the episode, the teaching is in the Narada–Sanatkumara frame)
Vrata: Dvādaśī (connected to Ekādaśī observance/parāṇa in Vaishnava practice)
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It elevates Dvādaśī as a luminous sacred time whose spiritual power destroys vighnas (obstacles), showing that right observance of tithi-based dharma has transformative, protective potency.
By praising Dvādaśī’s divine efficacy, the verse supports the bhakti practice of observing Ekādaśī–Dvādaśī with Vishnu-centered discipline, where devotion expressed through vrata becomes a means to overcome inner delusion and impediments.
It implicitly relies on Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology) and the tithi system—knowing lunar days like Ekādaśī/Dvādaśī and their ritual application—central to timing vrata and worship in Narada Purana rituals.
